slick tricks

Post by liketoshoot »

I have decided to shoot the standard slick trick 100 this year with my Pheonix, in the first part of the season. (Maybe spitfires later on) I have been shooting at 25yds into a 18-1... I sprayed a little armour all on the first 8" of the the arrow. That Rinehart is an awesome target for broadheads and the slick tricks fly very straight. When I was a kid it was Christmas morning that was the exciting day... now it's October 1st and it's right around the corner...

Sept 1st... wow that will be here soon...

I love to be in the deer woods in the fall.. I can smell it now...

The farmer I am hunting on planted golden acorns as well!

Now I gotta get a stand up near the field edge asap...

I can't wait to hear about some backstrap adventures from you'all!

slick tricks are tough and i have a tone at least 5 dozen of them , but i wish thay had better cutting radius , its hard to beat that steel tho lol we used to shoot themk thru countertop with a compound wouldnt hurt them, but i do like the wieight of a 170 grain headthe new xbow tricks i heard were very good

Iam using the ST 125 mags. for the first time this year. They seem to fly ok but one thing I've noticed is they dont screw in very much (thread stem is shorter?) anyone else notice this?

Has anyone been using the 175 grain slick tricks?
I haven't tried one yet, but they sound like a good option for a fixed blade.

i have them dash but i havent used them on any game, i like the cutting diameter of the spitfires better, i will try the slick tricks , they fly good but like i said i havent field tested them yet, theyre a tough tough blade made of excelent steel, shot placement is everything , but still would like that extra cutting tho they cut with 4 blades they should bleed good wont know what they do til oct 1st
