Post by Obh »

Which do you prefer for deer - Slick Trick Magnums or the standard size? Do they fly well with the GT Laser II

I use Slick Trick 100 gr magnums with Gold Tip bolts and 2" blazer vanes. Fly super straight, hit hard, cuts through bone with complete pass through, and gives a short track job. That's enough for me!!

Hey Obh,
I'm shooting them with the 4" vanetecs. However, I did order laser II shafts and am eventually going to get around to doing some up with the 2" blazers. Like badredbird says, theres more than one way to skin a cat. Thats part of the fun of it for me, experimenting with different combo's. I would also like to also try some of the aluminum 2219's with a good mechanical broadhead. Let us know what you try.
