Hey Folks,
I made myself a Tower Stand a few years ago. I have been reading that they put something on the floor to dampen any sound. I have some rug that I am going to put on the floor. I have enough to do the walls and ceiling if neccessary. Do I need to cover the walls and ceiling also?
Thanks,
Raymond

Yes . . .make it look like a pimped up 67 Impala.
I'd rather wear out than rust out.

if your 20ft or more up I wouldnt worry about it..the floor where you shift your wieght as your looking around is most important.. good luck

Egg cartons will dampen the sound on the walls and ceilings and there fairly easy to obtain. Just staple them together. Then you can have a rock concert in you stand and nothing will know your there.

While carpet on the walls wouldnt be a must or anything,it will dampen sound some. I dont know the temps in your area during hunting season, but carpet on the walls will also act as an insulator to make your hide a little warmer.Just a thought.
