I haven't been on the board in 2 years. Thought I would let everyone know that bow season opens in Alabama on October 15. I'm pumped can't wait

Welcome back Chris and good luck. Our season here in Georgia has been on since mid September. Its been really hot and they are not moving well yet. Hopefully it will be just about right for you by the 15th.

Welcome back!

Seems like the older I get the less excited I am in the weeks preceding deer season - then on the night before the opener I'm like a kid on Christmas eve again.

Guess it could be I'm just more "organized" as I get older. The Phoenix is strung & checked for accuracy before the big day, the fanny pack has been stocked with necessities I've determined critical, the arrows are tuned & inspected well ahead of time, and I do it all without having to give it too much thought.

I couldnt wait for Alabama's season to open. I like to get a 3 week head start in Tennessee. One doe down with more to come now that I have my scope swapped out.

I have a great public hunting land buck tied out on Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge with my name on it

We had a close encounter last year on opening day, but I had a equipment problem at 8 yards that cost me from taking him home

This year he's coming home with me
