Being new to crossbows, I had to find out for myself what a broadhead will do at 40 yards.
Firebolt with 150 gr Boltcutter, 6 - 4 liter water jugs (full ) and 2 inches into a foam block.
1 water jug, a piece of 5/8 plywood, and 2 more water jugs. Blades still intact.
GT II , brass insert , 100gr X-Act mechanical, 6 - water jugs.
1 water jug, 5/8 in plywood, and 2 more water jugs. Blades intact , but the spring clip which locks them in the forward/closed position was broken.
Both proved very tough.
So I wrecked a couple of heads,but, Now I am fully confident in either of these heads...and had fun doing it.
What Broadheads will do.

So overall they went through the same amount of stuff with the same penetration? Or did the bolt cutter penetrate more?
