pretty much off topic

Post by sumner4991 »

Here is the link to my oldest daughter's tennis recruitment video. I'm hoping there is a college coach out there that owns an excalibur. If I can work this just right, when I go see my daughter play college tennis, then I can do some hunting too.

Anyway, I know I've talked tennis with a few of you guys and I thought you might get a kick out of seeing her hit the ball.

It's easy to see all those years of practice are paying off. :D

Ready to take on Venus Williams? Maybe? Don't know your political alignment as far as colleges go, but my alma mater, University of Florida, has a strong tennis program. Might try pitching to them. She can come down here and live where it is hot 9 months out of the year. :)

Thanks guys . . .I did the best I could for a low budget production. :)

She is a great kid and loves tennis. She is ranked in the top 25 for the state of Georgia. But, we haven't been able to travel much to the regional and national tournaments. Most of the top colleges want a nationally ranked player. Some even require a internationally ranked player.

There are some Division I schools that have expressed interest. UF isn't one of them . . .the ACC is tough as far as getting a scholarship. Almost as hard as going pro.

I'll let you all know where she ends up. If the coach doesn't hunt, then maybe I'll just have to meet some forum members in person. :)
