making a bag target

Post by thumper »

Was thinking of doing this using empty corn sacks packed inside of a 50lb. grass seed bag.

Should work just fine, just pack it tight.

Don't know if it's needed but I always double
the outer bag.

I always use the cling wrap of skids- pallets of warehouse materials;pack them real tight; they last for alot of years.

Some good ideas guys, I used some high density foam but the arrows are hard to pull out.

There was a thread about this a couple months back. I used to have an onion bag stuffed with old blankets and flanel shirts. Worked great for field tips. Tried it with broadheads and cut my fingers trying to get it untangled.
