I still haven't figured out quite how to get the pictures to post. I really appreciate the help getting the photo where it could be viewed on the forum. This place does have some great people. It sure is refreshing not to have someone to tell me how lame I am for not posting correctly. I am enjoying my new Vortex. I have had it a week and have killed three deer with three shots. I have had a good season so far. 10 deer. 9 with the crossbow and one with the muzzleloader. I hope to add a few more between Christmas and New Years. Thanks again for those that have helped me feel like family on this forum. The Tarheel

Outstanding Tarheel!!!! Congrats!! :D

With that being said though, I gotta say that the one on your left is barely enough to make the skillet stink.

I'm just giving you crap man!!! Congrats again! Any deer legally harvested is a trophy, no matter what the size. Those smaller ones may not have as much meat, but they definitely taste better.

Yeah but it'll melt in your mouth.I let alot of them go by in the fall, but just yesterday I was thinking I might like to shoot a couple during winter bow in January.they sure make for good eating & they dont take long to butcher.

TarheelVortex you're not the only one who has trouble figuring out how to post photos. It took me awhile to figure out how to do it. When I get a chance I'm gonna see if I can make a Youtube video that will show how to post photos, like they say a picture is worth a thousand words & a video is worth 2000. When I get it done I'll post it on the forum

here it is go to this youtube link

Don't forget easy to drag. The majority of my hunting takes place in Urban / Suburban environments where the landowners want the deer removed. They want to hear that they have less deer feeding on their plants and shrubbery and also enjoy the source of " Organic " meat. The only deer I don't harvest are small bucks and deer with spots. My sign in name should have been "Meathunter". The Tarheel.
