Great job there Mike. A great looking pieces for a really nice guy also. Can't wait to see you have it in your hands Neil. That is going to be a beauty.

Mike thats the nicest laminate stock ive seen..
the craftsmanship is superb.
I realy like the grooves you put just under the rail.
that had to be a little nerve racking..too deep and its fire wood..also i love the way you blended the cheek piece on the opposite side..nice detail and took off a little weight too..its a good thing we dont live close to each other because i would be over there every day.

Hey, thanks and it was just plain fun making it. You would'nt believe the finish process I went through. Did it like Bugs and Dons and then got the idea to put a surface finish on it to brighten it up a bit. BIG mistake! Got real shiny and showed a ton of scratch and scuffs. I took a cardboard pattern and mark on that where are the imperfections were and then took off the finish and gave it a good rub down. There will always be a scratch someplace but I got a lot of them. Hey, you can come over anytime my friend. :D
