I think the excal. r-f mount is realy good, I have a "Bushnell Ark" and I realy like it "BUT" I don't know if it will hold it's calibrations from the ,shock of multaple shots, so when i'm in my stand i range all possable shots and when and if, a deer come's along i allready know the distance, If a deer is out of my comfort range i simply don't shoot, My comfort range is 30yds. and under, and i don't go out of it.. :)

Dave :)
P.S. Most range finders have a threaded place for mounting.

The rf mount was my idea. I had approx 1200 shots w/ a prototype mount w/o rubber, Emax and Bushnell yardage pro.............

It uses velcro to mount the rf to the mount...........

Pappa bear said exactly what I was thinking, can a rangefinder handle the recoil? I borrow my friends range finder so I am scared to find out.

I bought the excal range finder mount from Danny Miller only to discover that it comes with a 1 inch weaver style ring. Unfortunately for me, the excal twilight scope has a 30mm tube. Maybe excal will start supplying the 30mm ring in the future. :( :(

Well, pal, sounds like you need a 30mm pal to off the oddball ring on, can't you talk'em up a tad on the rf mount?

it's been 'handling' the recoil since 07 when they brought them out w/ no complaints that I've seen.

Here's a little trick to put some more rubber into the equation if you have a 1" scope body. Get a 30 mm ring[+ .200 from 25 mm] [1"]and trim it to fit inside the ring............tighten it up and voila......................
