If a Flemish string comes undone it is because it was untwisted. Danny twists them up and installs them on a set of limbs before serving. The way Flemish strings are made it is possible to become unravelled if it installed any where close to the correct length. While looking at the end of a string counter clockwise shortens. Use a cocking aid and you'll have no problems. This is a common mistake that usually only happens once.
