O/T New Toy

Post by awshucks »

Sorry for the crappy photo, I took 3 and this is it. I got a new tricked out Ruger .22 and was sighting it in at 50'.

Pay close attention to the upper right corner of the target, that's 5 shots, 2 in the hole to the right and 3 on target. The rest were so so, came from a mixed bag of ammo I was 'sorting' through the spotting scope......

Look out squirrels!

Nice pistol. I love .22s. Nothing like shooting all day for 20 bucks.

Thats too cute. We had squirrels when I was a kid. My old man cut down a tree that had a nest and we bottle fed them til they got old enough.

To all the older folks that enjoy shooting your .22 pistols and have a hard time seeing the iron sights , a red dot sight is the only way to go. You don't need magnification as the pistol dosen'thave the range. I have had one on my S&W .22 for 15 years and just replaced it with a current model. Oh by the way many a tree rat has fallen.

There's something about shooting a .22 that never gets old... Perhaps the price?

Pretty sweet little toy Dan. I like those little Ruger pistols, but for some reason I've yet to end up with one. Used to pick walnuts out of a tree with a Ruger Single Six.
