Out in the Swamp today in freaking winds that kept me on my toes. A Big Doe came from behind me and in some thick stuff. Didn't even hear her until she was right on me. I got ready hoping for a shot at the first Doe spotted since Oct. opener! She was very aware of something not quite right, and quickly bound through the thicket out of sight. But then I hear another noise coming from behind me in the distance. It was a nice Buck. He was following the exact steps the Doe took. Nose to the ground and marching forward, he was on a mission! But the route he was on was thick crap that you couldn't pass an arrow through. Especially in gale winds. But I stayed ready and hoped he would pass through a small opening I had about thirty yds. away. My only shot or he would pass without any worries. But he did pass through there, exactly where the Doe went! I had the Beauty EXOMAG 200 waiting already. One step more and into the clear scope and THUMP! He ran off and hit some water and you could see the blood poring out into the water! He power wobbled about thirty yds. then took and hard dirt nap!! Game over!!

He is not the biggest one there, but he is mine!!
He is about 200 lbs. Thick neck. One broke point.
Now I can rest my Back and legs until the next Doe hunt, when I'm ready!

I had many ask what I used. So here it is.
