O/ T Trouble with AT forums ??

Post by Farmer »

Have been using Chrome for internet browser for a while now . Went to go on to Archery Talk and the browser turns red and states :

The website ahead contains malware !

Google chrome has blocked access to www.archerytalk.com for now .

Even if you have visited this website in the past , visiting it now is very likely to infect your Mac with Malware .

It then goes on to state what malware can do . Has anyone ever seen this screen come up ? Have never had any trouble with archery talk in the past .

I read this morning on another site that someone had the same thing happen with the Ontario out of door website.

Yep Ontario out of door site is doing it to me as well.

A member on AT, Willie, says he traced the problem to a members avatar that had malware attached. It has been removed. Hopefully that will solve the problem. As far as I have seen no one actually got infected.

Looks like these sights have to do some house cleaning Bottom Line it`s not the sight it is the links posted on these sights Both are very good sights but very hard to control the links posted and I suspect that it is not the SUB sights as well It is the A- ASS H__les who insert the code that ruin it for all of us causing the issues
