Ok, so I finally had a chance to shoot the 380 a few more times-paying closer attention to the details this time. As Prorudy pointed out earlier, the eye relief on the scope takes some getting used to-even more so than the Shadowzone I had on the Equinox. If you are just slightly off kilter to the left or right, it immediately goes out of focus(and by slightly, I mean slightly). Definitley less forgiving than the Shadowzone. It is a very clear scope, however, once you have it perfectly aligned with your eye. And like I said before, I personally like the little triangle aiming points.
As far as noise goes, I don't find it to be much, if at all, quieter. It is a different type of noise though. There is a lot less vibration, therefore the noise seems to subside alot quicker, if that makes sense. Doesn't leave a ringing in the ear like the other Excals.
Paying closer attention, this bow cocks a ton easier than the Equinox. I have never pulled back on a 200 lb Excal, but I would venture a guess that it would be similar to one. If you can pull back a 200 pounder, I wouldn't be afraid to venture into a new 380 if that is your deciding factor in getting one.
As far as the trigger goes, it was much better today. I think a lot of it was the fact that it had been out in the cold for so long last time before I shot. There seems to be a fair amount of travel before it breaks, but it isn't a deal breaker. (I had just finished shooting my Cam X that I just bought-this has a lot less travel which made me notice it even more on the 380.)
Hopefully this helps some of you out. I am not a crossbow expert by any means-just trying to give an honest opinion. Happy New Year!!
