does anyone plan on using brass inserts with the 18" arrows?

No plans for brass here, I'm going light and fast.
Bill T said that the Matrix series performs very well using 350 grain arrows. I fact he stated that he put a 350 grainer through a moose using the M380 starting at the shoulder and exiting on the opposite side at the hip. THATS IS a lot of penetration!

When i get my Matrix i will use weight up front.......Lots of weight. I bet at long ranges these light arrow set ups will drift.....alot . going with my testing at 330fps it can only help. My friend has a bow that shoots 375 fps. He had issuse building arrows that worked at all ranges. i built him some 605 grain arrows and all his problems went away. He had to buy a new target because his new arrows traveled clean through it.

I plan on shooting Black Eagle arrows in mine with loc n load inserts. Believe they weigh 92 grains. Then I can shoot my 100 grain slick trick magnums and have plenty of front end on them.

If you look at the arrows for the Matrix Easton made the spine stronger with weighted inserts.
