that,s good advice! I shoot off of sand bags like a rifle but you can,t leave the bow in the bag in the same spot an work the bolt like a rifle. you have to remove the bow an cock it an try to get it back in the same spot and with the same pressure on everything . i think the more consistent you can do things the better your groups will be . an when shooting at long range you better do everything right to get good groups.

To shoot consistent one has to do the same thing every time the same way, if you put your bow in a rest the same way every time and aim at the same dot 3 times in a row you should mess up three arrows at any distance unless mother nature steps in or your arrows aren't built the same.

I just received three Luminocks so decided to put them in three BEAs and see how they shoot. 20 Yard shot on them with Vortex and factory string. The arrows weighed in at 338 grains which is 20 grains more than with the standard nocks.

Could not turn them off with my fingers. Used pliers and they clicked right off. I will probably sand them down a tad.

You just need to wiggle them as you pull, or if you have a pair of Danny Miller pliars they work great without any damage.

I took my pocket knife to them and carefully trimmed off a little plastic. They are now pretty easy to turn off. Might have over done it on the first one cause it is easy to pull loose with a steady tug. If it pops out when shot I will wrap some tape around it to snug it back up. Was real careful on the other two.

out this morning an shot 80yds an almost calm just a little breeze in my face an all my screws tight today! 1 picture shot al six BEA at same bull and left 3 were .003 and right ones were.001 an each group went under two inches and I have no ideal why they shot to different poi from each other??? so tryed again an the same ones on the left .003 and right ones .001 and different poi for each arrows???? except when I went to shoot my last arrow number 6 a.003 my serving come apart an I shot it twice to see where it would hit an it was off from the others. all the arrows the.001 and .003 shot under two inch groups at 80yds an so did three of my super slams . I was impressed with all the arrows an they were all shot on the spine mark. I now took out the plastic nocks and put aluminum ones in an now arrow weight is about 435gr. don,t care for plastic nocks. then checked an found back screw loose an fixed then put in alum nocks an shot at 80yd again .4 picture shot on spine mark then next cock on left then right.

Got out for a couple shots this morning before the rain. I'm using a old Black hole target with some feed sacks behind so not to shot through. I shot all with cock feather down today. I could have shot better. A lot of trigger creep. My 20 yard shots were for a check on my site in. Glad I didn't ruin an arrow. I was shooting off a bench without bags.

Without any adjustments I moved and shot 6 arrows at 30 yards. I know I pulled the top left arrow.

I moved and shot 6 arrows at 40. I was really surprised at the 40 yd target group. I did aim a little high expecting the arrows to drop.

I am going to get out alittle later if it stops raining and do some slower shooting and measuring. I have a set of sand bags to use for the 50 yds.

What I'm seeing are these are very accurate arrows. 20 to 30 yards 1 to 1 1/2 inch groups. 40 yard 2 inch groups. I have always shot stock fire bolts. I can now see why guys tweek their arrows. I'll try and post some pictures.

Guy's I have a question. The vanes used are the 2" Blazer's correct? Also what fletching orientation did you use. Right hand helical, Right hand offset, Or Straight. Any and all input would be greatly appreciated. TIA

I fletched mine in an Arizone E-Z Bolt fletcher. It puts a bunch of helical on the blazers, and in the past has shown to be the trick.

I just want to make sure I am reading this thread correctly. The Vanes are the Blazer's that are .568" tall and 2" in length. And the orientation is right hand helical. The reason I would like to know is I want to order some of these arrows and want to make sure I get them bulit correctly. Thanks!!!
