Fixed or Mechanical
Which broadhead do you shoot with your Excalibur? All I am looking for is which one you shoot. Fixed or Mechanical. Don't need any brands or anything. Trying to get a feel on which way to go. I'm kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place on what to do here. Please let me know. TIA!!!

Re: Fixed or Mechanical
I simply will not take a chance on mechanicals. I bought the Excalibur for the main reason of simplicity. Less moving parts and more reliable and accuarate. I know that there have been a many of deer killed with mechanicals and never had a lick of trouble but I simply will not do it personally.
Best of luck.

Doesn't really matter what "we" shoot, it's what "you" want to shoot.

I mean mechanical!
I mean mechanical!

Re: Fixed or Mechanical
Mechanical for hunting. . .like to take as many of the risks out of the equation as possible, the faster the bow, the more effects wind has on the blades. Blades dragging and planing. . .not a good thing.
I'd rather wear out than rust out.
