The speed and accuracy is great, I set the scope to 350, shot a few bolts at twenty yards, spot on. The scope markings were right on. Longest shots were 51 yards , all in a two inch black dot bull each time! I was using the Trash can as a shooting bench. I was using 100 grain field points as I will hunt with 100 gr spitfires.
I really like the simplicity of the recurve. The noise is no louder than my old Barnett 400. The rope cocker works great, I was able to hand cock it. Just like hand cocking my 400, until the last inch when it does build some resistance. I never had a rope cocker with my old crossbow. It is obvious that excalibur has put a lot of time into thier bows !
