Ya, that's the plan, get it milled to fit that little bit cleaner. I've been field testing to be sure it work to expectations. The first one I made was on the wrong side for a right handed shooter. While it really wasn't a big deal I would alway have to maneuver around the post to set an arrow in place, so made one for the other side.

I work with industrial machinery and some old equipment was being tossed out, so a I grabbed a couple for another project that didn't fly and realized they'd be perfect for this.
