How accurate is your Matrix?
The more I shoot it the more I'm impressed with the 380's accuracy. Here's a 40 yard group with broadheads and a 60 yard group with field points. All arras used were BEA cut to 18" using 92 gr brass inserts and plastic nocks.
The last picture was a 40 yard shot.
I know that once I make a couple of "adjustments" that 60 yard group will shrink.

Re: How accurate is your Matrix?
Thats how mine shoots as well. They do like the BE shafts for sure. 40 yards is my sweet spot, but out to 60 is no problem. I am thinking of getting the HHA set up so I can shoot farther (target only).
Nice bird too,Don

Insight on next year? Yep!xcaliber wrote:Nice shooting, and nice turkey. Like I tell Xcal1 when he does some incredible shooting, must be the string! I'm amazed how accurate all of the Xcals. are, especially the Matrix bows. It's on my list to get one for certain. I think VM has one on his list too. You got any insight on what to expect in the next year from Excalibur?

You two have to stop driving yourselves crazy with the wild guessing and just accept that what will be offered will be awesome! Rob has taken Excalibur to new heights and he's going to do even better next year!xcaliber wrote:Well, VM suspects they will completely evolve into the shorter, narrow frame design, and make lighter poundage bows on this format, I'm with him on this too. Only seems to make sense. I imagine a Matrix 400 too. JMHO.
A shorter frame? Think about it.

How Accurate? Bloody Amazing actually!
60 Yards with a 20 mph crosswind:
70 Yards with 20 mph crosswind:
80 Yards...
Center florescent bulls are 2" in diameter, outside black 4" diameter.
Of course that Marvelous String you sent along helps!
All with Factory Arrows! I can hardly wait to see what She does with the new trigger, and new Custom Black Eagles on the way!!
And I sincerely hope they don't make one Faster!!!
Cheers,
Nog

PS: Congrats on the Gobbler you Lucky Bum!
They don't grow them in sufficient numbers over here to hunt them or I would be!
Guess I'll be stuck trying it out on a Black Bear for the early show...
Soon methinks...

Re: How accurate is your Matrix?
Mike Kinley who is a 3 time world 3D winner says that the 380 is the most accurate bow he's ever shot. Dan, you will not be disappointed. The more I shoot mine the more I wonder if I'll ever use my Y25 again for hunting. Trouble is I also bought a 355 and have yet to really explore its potential but I think I'm going to be pleasantly surprised.xcaliber wrote:Alright, I'll try! I have my mind set on a 380 still. I'm sure what they have in the works will be great.

It's very Accurate, HHA Optimizer with 3-9x44mm scope on it and bench resting it theres nothing to putting 3 BE Executioners in a golf ball size spot at 60 yards..
