The blue laminate one I recieved from Mike last year had luck built into it. I harvested 4 small bucks in 5 days last year that came to his call.

Love my Wabi call!
It's beautiful to look at and I used mine for my first xbow buck.

Thanks Mike!

My son and I both own Wabi calls. A true piece of artwork and a sound that is second to none.

I just started using a call a few years ago and I cannot even remember the name of the call that I bought from the store where I worked. It sound okay when I first bought it but now I find it sounds real crappy. But it did work when I first had it, I called in a spike horn and a small buck with it, and a few does. Now I don't think I would really use it, it sounds like real plastic if that makes sense to any of you folks. I just can't get a decent sound from it anymore, I think it is worse for me to use it than not to. One of these days I will invest in a Wabi deer call when I can.
Thanks,
Raymond

Thanks for the good comments everyone!
I try to make a good call and so far they have worked for a lot of people who have them. I love to hear the success stories. :D

Wabi's calls are just like Excalibur crossbows, Big John arrows, DaGriz knives or Pringles chips.....you can't stop at just one! :D

After years of using "the can" with dubious results, I finally decided to try a "duck" style call which sounded better to me. When I saw a couple of Wabi's calls and the great feedback they were getting I just had to give them a try. I was absolutely shocked at how differently the deer responded! There were times when I thought the deer was going to climb into our ground blind with us. One deer even tried that stunt after my nephew shot at it twice!

I am not sure what it is but I am constantly amazed at the incredible workmanship and diversity of skills this forum attracts.
