We have a season in pa for them but i haven't killed one yet. I heard its one of the few meats you can eat raw without fear of getting sick or getting parasites.

I once shot three in one night in my underwear. (How they got in my underwear I'll never know - sorry Groucho . . .

). Not with an x-bow though - used a Beretta 92.
