Post by rccub23 »

for those of you that have a matrix
380, how much difference in sound
did you notice after switching to
a boo string.

A flemish string will take the metal sounding twang out of the bow.

Just a question and nothing else. Have you two guys actually tested my strings?
Charlie, I think who you really want to hear from are the ones with cat whiskers.

I cannot honestly answer the question posed though. Had the Boo String in hand well before the Matrix arrived, and it went on the bow Day One. Between the string and the other little things I did to try and quieten her down a tad (Camo-Wrapped Stirrup, Taped retainer underside full length, and somewhat heavier Big John Lightening Bolts) I can say it is no louder than the Exomax. One of the Best things with the Boo String - it now has over 700 shots on it, and still Going and Going!! VERY Sweet for a bow that folks were suggesting would chew through strings rather fast. And with a second one in reserve, it will likely be a spell before I am back on the Order List...

Cheers,
Nog
