I used the DLX all last year and it is certainly Excaliburs best scope offering. A bit on the heavy side but a great performer in that price range. It is very clear, offers a good field of view, has good low light performance and the green/red illumination and intensity settings are user friendly.

I've got one and I like it. I've used mine for a couple of years and am very pleased. Low light, the big front objective really helps gather the light. Can't say much about the lighted reticle though as I haven't had a chance to use.

I have one and took 3 deer with it last year. It is definitely better than the varizone or lumizone in low light. That being said I could have made all three shots last year using my old varizone.

Essentially it ensures that you can make best use of that last/first 15 minutes of the day - particularly on days with overcast or no moon.

I plan to take mine down to Texas in January to try some hog hunting in darker conditions.

I also have the DLX and I absolutely love it field of view light gathering and the illumination is great. it does weigh a little more but I would not trade it for anything
