Rope cocker diameter

Can someone tell me the correct diameter of rope size I need that matches the factory size ?

What I replaced some of mine is with lawnmower of chainsaw starter cord.
Looks to be about 1/4 " in diameter.
I get mine off a bulk roll at my lawnmower dealer.
Starter pull cord handles work well too.
More comfortable in the hand than the crossbow models.
