New member saying hello

Post by Kegbelly »

Hi all,
After lurking for quite a few years, I decided to finally join the forum, so hello to everyone! I bought my Excalibur about 6 years ago from the original owner, it's the first and only xbow I've ever had, so I've done a TON of reading and research on here trying to learn everything I can about it, and about Excaliburs in general.
Mine is an Exomag, it has the machined straight riser, magtip limbs, 200 lb draw, with the brace marks on the deck. Best I can determine it was built just prior to the Exomag evolving into the Exomax. At any rate it is an awesome shooting bow! Between the previous owner and I, this little baby has sent over 20 deer to that great greenfield in the sky. I can say from personal experience it will shoot clean through a deer longways too (picture a reverse Texas heart shot)
Anyhow, just wanted to say hi, and to say thanks to everyone because I've already learned much, and look forward to even more!

John

Thanks everyone! Hopefully I can add something, but I'm pretty sure I'll learn a lot more than I can contribute. The wealth of information here is fantastic, and for the most part I've been able to find the answers to my questions by searching and reading through other's questions and answers, so I just never did officially join up.
Now the Matrix has seriously piqued my interest and I'm feeling the itch, so I've been reading up a lot on it to see what others think about it, what their experience has been with it, potential issues or drawbacks, etc... I love my Maggie and have supreme confidence in her, but the Matrix 380 sure looks sweet  Maybe next year! Thanks again everyone!
