Congrats on your deer, one of my friends lost a nice buck last week that ran in a thick cutover. He was using a Swhacker but he had good blood to the cutover until it started pouring down the rain and washed all his blood away. Its a sickening feeling when you know you've killed a deer and can't find it.

Congrats on your recovery and not giving up.
