Thats a good idea. ! It's hard to play the wind where I'm at, with all the ridges and hollows it swirls and changes directions constantly. Might have to give that a try.

hockey tape in camo color very tough it is on mine for 2 years in rain snow and cold.

Same here, so I re did mine and left a space for the vane to pass.
