We have a family member in the navy. His first year in and he won't be here for Christmas this year. Luckily he will get here this week. Please remember our fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, sons and daughters that are stationed or on duty today. Be it fire, paramedics, cops or service personnel or ????

My prayers today are with all of the people that cannot be with their familys at this time of year. I know how hard it is as spent Christmas of 71 in Vietnam and war and civil service doesn't stop for our holidays or beliefs in them. It can really be rough for one that has very close family ties at this time of year. Merry Christmas to all.

I understand first hand , as many on this forum do. I spent 5 years in the Navy not being able to get home for the holidays.
