It's the biggest reason for me to attend!

I'm hoping to make it Sat or Sun, just depends on work scheduling, which day I make it.

Hi,

Unfortunately, we will not be going as it conflicts with another show. We hope to make it next year.

All the best and enjoy!

Went to the Sportsman show a couple years ago and had very few hunting booths. Seemed to be all geared around fishing and boats. Not going to pay just to go see Excalibur.

Yep and little has changed, unless I have something I want to purchase, I'll be passing on the next one. I remember going with my parents as a kid and there was everything under the sun at the show. Now it's 90% fishing and a few hunting displays. :(

I remember my first Toronto show in 1992. Excalibur was there and I spoke with Bill T at length and purchased my first 165 Exocet from one of the vendors.
Leupold also had a booth and I found a 1-4 VX II to give my Exocet a better LOOK.

Yes the show has definitely changed from many years ago. I remember all kinds of great things to see and do.
Field Trials for Bird Dogs, Rock Climbing,
Dog Shows, Hunting and fishing Lodge displays, Taxidermy displays, Tons of Gear to buy, foods, Separate Halls for Fishing and Hunting and Dogs, and Farming Equipment and Farm Animal Shows.
ALL ARE GONE !!!!!
If they made the Show like the Old Days they would draw in many more people!!!
I can't walk very good and had to rest a lot, and still did the show in 2 hrs. All of it!!!
Good thing I talked with Rob (Excal CEO) for an hour or so, otherwise it would have been a short trip!

I suppose it's not like a fine wine, which get better with age. Unfortunately that's the $ign of the times. Less show for more dough.

I was at the show Saturday and I can say it really is 90% fishing, 10% hunting. The first time I went was back in 1996 and it really was different. There used to be tons of taxidermy booths, gun and bow shops and a lot of deals. Now it's loaded with fishing, boating and camping gear and very little hunting attractions, i think I'm going to pass next year

I politely tried to tell you people it is a waste of time. I can go to a Nascar race or a Motorcycle event and find more hunting stuff.

But some darn nice bowfishing boats!
