Nikon Bolt on M380

Post by Pa.hunter »

I was wondering if anybody has installed the Nikon Bolt on there M380 and how the yardage dots work sense there is no speed ring and the scope is set up for 305 fps. I would like to know how far off the yardage dots our off on the 380 if any?

Thanks for any help Charlie

Here are a few links for your too read about the Nikon XR Bolt scope on a Matrix 380. Also Nikon has a on-line program that you can use to calculate the actual yardage for your crossbow's arrow speed.

I used the Leupold Rifleman (med) on my 355 and and the scope clears the mount but just barely.

The links on this forum are not hyper linked, you need to copy and paste them on a browser.

I ran the basic Nikon spoton for an Excalibur carbon arrow, 100 grain tip @ 380 FPS. Readings are 20, 33, 54, 70 & 78 yards.

Charlie,

You are going to really like the Leupold rifleman rings, perfect lightweight match for Excalibur crossbows.

Well she can show you that its not too hard, just copy the entire website link and paste it in a new browser page. Most forums have hyperlink capability, but this forum is an exception for some reason.
