I have Stenosis L4 / L5 that is effecting My left Hip and Leg ,Pain You wouldn't believe . I have tried just about everything else but Surgery. I had trouble walking to My treestand past two Seasons .Can't walk , sit or stand too long without pain I Got to do something . Just finishing up with The Chiropractor with very little results , Physical Therapy before that , Epidural Injections before that, I am tired of painkillers They just knock Me out .So what Do I do now ? RUN.....I can't run

Sorry to hear that friend. That sounds like what area. Of back I had worked on I was really interested in how many of u guys have hade surgery on l4 an l5 area of back had to drop back to lighter poundage cross bows and how many could still draw what they were shooting before ? What's the odds I'll have to sell my ole blk Betty and move toward the vixens ?? Sorry once again u are in pain with ur back. Good luck with it in the future

Ah the old L5 L4 & L3, yup that my surgerys. Like y'all i am still dealin wid the pain. Have one disc gone in neck & T10 between my shoulders. That one finished me off shootin my Recurves n compounds of any weight above 40lbs. Mo glad to hear yer still alive n kickin. Feel fer you on the back. My Dr. had me walkin a mile 3 times a day on the 2nd day after surgery

Hey VM a person don't know his own self till a couple of happy nurses come get u out of bed fer a walk bout 12 hrs after surgery I have invented new curse words

I had the ole L4 & L5 done in 99...best thing i ever done, couldn't take it any more. I can pull my vortex back with no problems, just can't do long shooting session's with it. Gave me a good excuse to buy a vixen!!

I to had lower back surgery didn't regret it until they got me up the next day to walk after that its been great

I've never had a knife put to my back/ neck but i lived on the floor for two 2 weeks crawling into the bathroom into tub to "go". You hang in there Mo Wannabe! just consentrate on eating good and excercising (walking and some light stair work) your goal is Missouri crossbow season, i think vixenmaster got's you' all's count down going.

Welcome to the last half of our lives boys! It isn't pretty but it's all we got.
Hope you guys learn to live with your pain with whatever relief you can get! After 3 years I'm getting a tad better but mostly living with it. I now cock all of my bows with a cranking aid. If I cock any of my bows a couple of times I pay for it for a week and payback is a bitch!
