Can't image what it would do to the coating at %100 but I suppose in a emergency the coating will the furthest thing from my mind.

I noticed at Excal dealer that the finish on Matrix 380 camp limbs was perfect,not a scratch that I could see.But on the 380 blackout the finish on limbs did show scratches.Thats why I went with a camo version.Both were demo xbows so keep that in consideration.Did see this similar result @ another dealer too.This was early in their introduction.My camo show no where on finsh anywhere and I hunt with it. BUt I could see where camo pattern would hide flaws.

yes thermacell is awesome.my favorite bow hunting gloves are really thin & have some kind of repellent in the fabric,have no idea what .i have noticed a little wear on my 380 where the cocking string goes, its just white now.not really noticable though.our camo equinox is perfect.
matrix 380 w grim reaper 125 grain (midevil 2) equinox w boltcutter 150 grain (midevil 1)
