Been tinkering with my HHA an have a lower cleaner looking rig. I started out by using a weaver flat base about 2 inches long an drilling 2 holes in it to match where the peep mounted on top the trigger unit an attached it on the trigger unit then attached the HHA to the base an did away with the excalibur scope mount.
To make it a three hole mount you can use a longer base an take a little metal out under the front of it an use your rear spring retainer hole by sitting it on top the retainer an holding both with the same screw. looks great an makes a fine rig with no fletching clearance problems with vanes like with the excalibur mount.
