Re: Break from loading manual Matrix 380
There are many copies of our rope cocking aids out there, some of poor quality. The rope cocker shown is not one of ours. Our cocking aids all have our logo on one of the handles. I have even seen some of these copies made of material so soft the hooks would not hold the string and stretch right out allowing the crossbow to dry fire.
So, make sure you are always using Excalibur products with your Excalibur crossbow. If in doubt, feel free to send me an image of the suspect accessory and I can confirm if its ours.

You have to be careful in choosing a rope cocker....contrary to popular belief they are not all the same. I only use Excalibur brand. I know Excalibur doesn't make them but they are as good as you can get. Used them on a variety of bows not just recurves.

I used another brand (Horton or Barnett - not 100% sure which it was now) for several years with no problems. In October 2011 I started to cock my Phoenix before climbing up in my stand and BOTH hooks broke!!!!!!!

BTW - I had replaced the rope with AmSteel Blue (appx 2500# test).
I now own one with the Excalbur logo on the handle!

Re: Break from loading manual Matrix 380
The fact that I have not changed or bought apart from loading, the same was in the original sealed package crossbow.
It was part of the original accessories Excalibur, and I have always used the same to load (without problems) until a few days ago.
I think it's a responsibility of the Excalibur, I do not think my provider is changed and put the components of the original package .....

My dealer in Italy (Toxon Sport) told me that buy directly from European retailer (JVD.NL), does not deal directly with Excalibur.
JVD.NL has not yet responded to this case ...
Now what should I do?
Thank you.

We never got the email, looks like our system suspected your message to be spam and zapped it. We get a lot of spam.
Please email me your address to peter@excaliburcrossbow.com and we will send you a replacement. At some point that cocking aid was replaced with a cheaper copy, it certainly did not happen here. Our handles are much different than shown in your pictures.

As a matter of fact we do make our own cocking aids here at our plant in Kitchener. We do have the handles molded for us but we put them together. We do imprint our logo on one of the handles which will easily identify ours from the cheap copies.I only use Excalibur brand. I know Excalibur doesn't make them but they are as good as you can get. Re: Break from loading manual Matrix 380
A big thank you to Peter (Excalibur Marketing) for its commitment to solve this problem, certainly not caused by the Excalibur, but by a problem in the distribution chain the European Union.
I saw that the shipment has already been made, I am waiting for the parcel.
Thank you Peter!!

This is the most generous, yet rediculous thing I have ever read! Simply amazing!

Note to myself ------------buy a spare--- maybe two ---- not because I expect it to break --- but cuz I will loose it or misplace it somehow ---I am totally capable of placing it in someplace and thence not finding till later --- I have approached the point in life where duplicates are the norm------ACK!!!
