Re: Tact Zone scope or other?
OTHER !!! Not impressed at all with TZ scopes . Optics not very good at all in my opinion .

Re: Tact Zone scope or other?
For what you are using it for . Close range crossbow hunting it fits the bill . Is there higher priced scopes out there . Yes .
I have used all of the Excalibur scopes and they work for me . I have much better scopes on my rifles that I feel would underutilized on my bows .
It would be like putting a high dollar sound system on your UTV .

I agree with DM.I quite like my TZ. Is there better glass?Sure but for the ranges involved it is plenty clear enough.

I liked mine, but upgraded to the Nikon Bolt XR, better optics in my opinion.

I happen to like the tac zone scope, I bought the bolt but didn't like the yardages on it compared to my 20,30,40, on my scope.

Re: Tact Zone scope or other?
I found both the eye relief and the focus lacking on my Tac Zone.
I got a great deal on the Redfield Revenge. It has much better focus and somewhat better eye relief. It is also is brighter. But it is not illuminated. On the other hand, I found the illumination on the Tac Zone of very limited value. It was too dim to see in good light. It was only visible when the overall image in the scope was too dark for comfort.
Good luck with your decision.

Re: Tact Zone scope or other?
I sold my brand new Tact-Zone scope on ebay and it paid for my used Leupold scope.
