If you want to shoot arrows flat and fast put the 405 in your crosshair. In 2014 I bumped my 380 to 405 and the 405 is hear to stay. For me it is Excalibur's best all out performer, fast and flat!

Normous , Being you have both 380/405 , There's an obvious FPS difference between the 2 but is there that much POI difference between them at normal hunting ranges ? And if so please explain . Thanks

Oddly, I thought that my groups might open up a bit going from the 380 to the 405 but I was pleasantly surprised that my 405 is scary accurate when I do my part, I find it slightly more accurate than the 380, I might add.

I have optimized every component for maximum performance and drop at 50 yards is reduced by 5-6" with a 400 grain arrow using the 405 compared to the 380.

No review here but i would say the 405 is a faster flatter shooting model. I would certainly have to go with the C2

I keep my rope cocker about 4"-5" short on one side and pull up on the string with my other hand to get the second hook on.. Once both hooks are on, it is really not that bad to cock.
