Just make sure you hang onto the one rope cocker handle. If you aren't ready, it can get away on you really easy!

welcome and congrats on the new bow..

the first time I decocked mine I had my butt cheeks so tight a matrix fired arrow would have bounced off

then I realized how surprisingly simple it is an never looked back.
I cock and decock mine in the stand no worries

Just remembered. When you're decocking, keep your hooks pointed up. I once had an issue  when I used to keep my hooks pointed down. I didn't have the hooks fully engaged and when I went to let it down, thangs when a fly'n! Smacked my hand real bad! That could easily have taken my eye out!
One last thing. Someone here was selling cheap rope cockers. Do not buy anything but the original. The poor person who bought that cheap unit ended up with both hooks breaking at once and both limbs damaged!

....and I thought that was only me Strum    ....the first time in the woods where I was by myself....all I could think about was the decocking process...Turned out to be a non-issue after all...like anything else once you do it a couple of times you're golden....
