Best bolts for Vortex?

Post by Buckwacker »

Hi All, Just want to catch up with whats "best" now!'
I've been shooting my stock 20" Firebolts for the past 3 years with the long fletch and aluminum inserts should I be "upgrading"?
Thanks really appreciate the input.

Many on the forum are shooting the Black Eagle Executioners...i would switch to them but i got about three dozen firebolts!!
I refletched my firebolts with onestringer wraps & 2" blazer vanes, they shoot plenty good enough to not invest in new arra's.

Vs the Firebolts I find I can shoot tighter groups with the Black Eagle Executioners (with 110gr brass inserts and 2in blazer vanes.)

Anything wrong with your Firebolts?

You "upgrade" to improve something.

Competitive shooter? No = no need to upgrade

Missing Bambi when you pull the trigger? No = no need to upgrade

Have money practically falling out of your wallet? Yes - sure, why stop with the BEE's, try Gold Tips, Beman's, Carbon Express, Easton's....
