Score one for Team 355!
I was off today so I did a morning hunt because it's really cool out compared to 65* in the afternoon. I went to my 20' ladder on the cornfield.Walking in I sprayed deer dander on my boots. At 8:10am I see a buck walking the same route I just walked, he's walking slow and when he's at 15yds I bleat at him and he stops and looks up only to see a 3 blade 2'" cut Rocket Hammerhead on it's way home! I hear a smack and the deer walks 20' and stops to look back for 2 minutes, he then walks slowly to my left and falls over at 20yds dead! I can't say enough about these Hammerheads, they stun the crap out of a deer. Blood trail was great again! It's not a big rack buck but I still have 2 more buck tags to fill. My buddy and his 19yr old drive out and pull my deer out for me to which I offer him the deer for the help and he takes it! I have 2 in the freezer already and don't need a 3rd.Here are some pics of my view from my stand.
