Dan Miller had to retap the barrel part of the crossbow to accept the vixen stock, that was the only modification.

I love Gold Tip Laser IV arrows!! They are the strongest arrow I have ever seen! You lose speed due to them being heavy but get some KE and durability. Dan Miller calls them shooting LOGS. I believe my arrows with my 125 grain broadhead and brass inserts weigh close to 550-600 grains. Also I have shot groundhogs with them and hit a large rock on the other side square on which would shatter all other arrows I have tried. The gold tips just bounced back tward me and after inspection and bending the arrow deemed good as new!
I have never had one not pass through a deer but I never shoot over 35 yards.
