? about the Dead Zone scope

Post by strum »

Looking at the new catalog I see the Dead-Zone comes with the Micro.
Im wonder if this was made before they changed back to the Vari-Zone or if its a new version of the Tact-Zone. Anyone know?
It looks like a non lighted reticle TZ to me.
I know they almost used an Ospey scope. My Micro box has "Ospey" white outed over .

Man, after all the complaints about the tact zone I would really hope they would listen & not go down that road again.

No matter the name I'd bet made in same factory. They really should start selling them with factory fiber optic sights again and let customer chose the scope they want. My guess is they are making more $$ per scope than the xbow.

....and why is it NOT listed in the Catalogue under scopes :) ?....Also, if you look under the Quill arrows it says, 18" but if you read the description it says 16.5"....am I missing something or could this be something overlooked by the proofreader?

since we are talking about the catalog here ..I noticed the OMP silencers too.
I remember they were working well but had adhesion issues so they never got tested well.
I'm curious to see how they work out this time around.

....and since we be really talking about the catalogue....many of us have come across the Bohning Bolt backpack that has been on sale for $50 (reg 139.99). This BP is strikingly similar to the Excalibur BP which I believes retails for $169.99 (not 100% sure)...Could it be that Excalibur has entered into a deal with the Bohning Company to market under the Excalibur name...hence the deep discount at Bohning for the bolt....just a thought?
