Yes & no.

The Astro Daco crossbow company & their limbs DID NOT HAVE SAME QUALITY as Excalibur has. Yes, normaly the scropion model was 150lb but I have seen them with 140, 160lb limbs. They tested each limb, then then sorted them by the readings. They did not waste different poundage limbs, just rated the bows differently even if the same model.

The Hornet was a model of crossbow from Astro Daco. Their other popular model was (as mentioned above) the Scropion. Generally the Horton was 125 & Scropion was 150 (+ or - 10 pounds).

Hope this helps.

Thanks Tom. So if I were trying to save me 1st year Relayer as an authentic Excalibur bow (not "numbers matching" I know because original limb ) then then all I need is a astro dayco limb of 150lb off any model?

Good luck in finding an Astro Daco Scropion 150lb limb. They are very dificult to find. That company went out of business I believe in 1985 and BillT (Excalibur) bought all remaining stock for thr orginal Relayer.

I have and still use an orginal Relayer and I am constantly on the lookout for a daco 150lb limb for a spare. I do have a "good shape" 140lb limb.

I think that the Hornet model limbs (but not certin) are a little shorter (smaller).
