micro drew first blood

Post by njlungbuster »

This morning was the first morning in the woods with the micro. I've had it for almost a month but had to wait until winter bow to take her out. About 7:50 this morning I had three bucks come through and this younger 7pt gave me a quartering towards shot. Sent the quill tipped with a 125gr NAP crossbow spitfire right through the bottom of his heart and out the off side through part of the stomach. Piled up about 80 yards away. With the temps in the twenties, I'm going to let him hang at least until Wednesday or Thursday. Not the best picture but I was alone.

Congratulations NJLB, you Jersey boys are apparently on the whack em and stack em program! Between you and my fratello Anthony and his boys, you're all doing your part to thin the whitetail numbers. Great shooting!
