Re: Attaching Harris Bi-pod ??
I put one on my 355 when I had it. I attached it right on the front sling post with no problem.

Would it fit onto the sling bolt on an Ibex easily? I don't have a quiver or anything else mounted there.

Hmmm. No, I suppose that wouldn't work then with a quiver mounted there. I had a Munch Mount top quiver mount on my 355.Parwannab wrote:The 405 doesn't make it that easy with quiver there.StormDragon wrote:I put one on my 355 when I had it. Here's a link to some pics of her with both the munch and harris on her: http://www.excaliburcrossbow.com/phpBB2 ... =1&t=54128
The Munch both helped with the balance of the bow answell as gave me the space I needed underneath to mount the Harris Bipod

I would think yes but the best way to know is take it to a local shop that carries them and see if they would let you try one on.cb175 wrote:Would it fit onto the sling bolt on an Ibex easily? I don't have a quiver or anything else mounted there.
That or order one and see and if it doesn't fit, return it.

Bipod plus quiver work fine.
Re: Attaching Harris Bi-pod ??
All you need to do is remove the 2 screws holding the quiver bracket on then slide it back toward the trigger. You will be able to use 1 screw to hold the bracket on. I've been using it like this for months, it does not come loose or move. I will show you a pic

The Bipod actually sits on top of the two riser bolts following the length of the barrel and connects to the sling mount in between themParwannab wrote:torana9x wrote:Bipod plus quiver work fine.
Torrana9x this is the bottom of the 405 without some kind of addition I don't see how to get a Harris Bi-pod on. Do you have the Excalibur Bi-pod mounted or the Harris? Sweet looking setup you have there!
Here is the underside of the 405.
The mount connector on the bipod is also adjustable so you can loosen it enough to connect and then tighten it back up again.
I found that if you put a thin sheet of foam between the bolts and bipod, it will help with vibration etc a little more then just going bipod directly on to bow

Re: Attaching Harris Bi-pod ??
Does that help? The bipod just clips on to the swivel stud.
Re: Attaching Harris Bi-pod ??
You could easily drill another hole for the other screw also.

Toranax..........your Harris in the pic is mounted backwards

Re: Attaching Harris Bi-pod ??
That's the way I like it, so the legs fold forward. I don't think there is a wrong way to mount it. Personal preference I guess. Plus if I did it the other way it would not fold back properly
Re: Attaching Harris Bi-pod ??
Hi torana9x,
Did you buy your bipod in Oz or get it online?

Re: Attaching Harris Bi-pod ??
I actually got it from my cousin. He had it on one of his guns, so i tried it on my bow and it fit perfectly, and it hasn't moved from there sincecb175 wrote:Hi torana9x,

But there is plenty on ebay.
Nice one mate! Do they make a smaller one than the 6-9"? I think going to something smaller would be better..Parwannab wrote:I have it on. Thanks for all of the help from everyone! I have the 13.5 - 27" model and it is just too big. I borrowed the 6 - 9" model and it went on perfectly. However, all of the help here brought the success! Thanks!
And I have both screws in my quiver!
