I love just a few simple things in life, and am lucky to have had my share of all of them. One of my biggest passions is Rock & Roll. I have a few questions that need to be answered correctly to win the strings, slightly used maybe!

As some know, I'm a big guitar nut. I don't know everything, and I don't answer questions unless it pays to.
There is a guitarist named Earl Slick. He played with many big names, toured with several mega stars. He was also in a few bands, but his biggest contributions in my mind were with his own band, the Earl Slick Band. I knew of him, but hadn't seen him perform live, but I got my chance just by dumb luck. He opened for a band on 10/9/1976. He had a recently released album that he played mostly from, and a couple songs from the previous record as well. My questions are as follows:
1. Who did he open for that night?
2. What was the name of his album released that year? There were two! Either one.
If this sort of thing is deemed unacceptable, please don't answer the questions!

Oh, I went hunting the following morning with my good friend from Alabama, he is a Vietnam Vet. My best friends oldest brother. We were not in L.A. at the time, hint. (Lower Alabama)
