Triggers and bows

Post by munch »

Heard someone drove a truck threw the front doors in the night and it caught fire, saw pics and it does not look good for a new shop that just opened

Pickup truck crashes through shooting range

BURFORD, Ont. - Provincial police say a pickup truck was abandoned and destroyed by fire after crashing through the front doors of a Brantford-area shooting range.

Police responded to the Triggers and Bows shooting range in Burford early Saturday.

Investigators say the pickup had been driven into the front doors of the business and started a fire in the building.

Firefighters found the truck fully engulfed by flames, but say no people were in the vehicle or the shooting range.

Police say the investigation into the cause of the collision and the subsequent fire is ongoing.

I went through the store yesterday. They have a security company on site that made getting in a little more difficult than average. Smoke damage and water damage from putting the fire out.
The truck was sent in to the doors for the sole purpose of causing damage. I have yet to read a news story that reflects what actually happened.
It will be a new store all over again, many crews in place doing repairs. The thing that may be lost is the custom mounts on the walls, a few exotics that are out of even the best insurance companies hands, that is a real loss. From a distance they look OK, but as you get closer they look like they are "smiling" from the shrinkage of the skin, kinda creepy.
The product is all there, but it sure smells!
The whole incident was captured on the outdoor surveillance system, it wont be long and they will be caught.
Edit to add.. The staff are still there, in uniform. They are not allowing visitors as of yet.
