Another "NEWBIE" question

Post by L. E. Carroll »

I ordered a new ADF for my 355 yesterday along with a cheek piece from Danny Miller. I then had to ask myself, having no experience with this type device, "How is this going to work while adjusting brace height with string tool since there is no arrow in place to hold the ADFdevice up and out of the way while letting the stringing aid down after adjustment are made" ?

Can someone with more experience with bows equipped with ADF enlighten me please?

Thank's Gene

There's a lever you push in above the safety to "disengage" the ADF while uncocking the bow. You'll see what I mean when you get it and install it. Pretty simple and easy.

First time is a bit rough, but you get the hang of it quickly.
