I haven't seen the Outdoor Life review on the Micro, but Field & Stream also tested some crossbows including the Micro in their August 2015 edition and they clocked it at 301 fps. They state that they were shooting 477 gr. arrows which may explain the low speed. The Cabelas Equalizer (really an Excal 370) came in at 343 fps with 477 gr. arrows, so the drop in velocity is related to the increased arrow weight.
